Didcot Baby Monday

Didcot Baby Monday is a community led peer-support group for parents with young babies.

As well as being a welcoming social group, they provide evidence-based information and support to help you navigate the challenges of life with a new baby. Drop-in support is available from a trained Breastfeeding Counsellor (currently part-qualified) and Peer Supporters. They are always ready to lend a well-informed, non-judgemental and empathetic ear to anything on your mind. Whether that’s breastfeeding or formula feeding, introducing solid food, infant sleep, adjusting to motherhood, or returning to work. There is a comprehensive library of carefully chosen baby and motherhood related books available to borrow, and can signpost to all sorts of reliable, non-commercial online information.

When and where are the sessions?

Mondays 10:00-12:00. GWP Southern Community Centre (Sorrel Crescent, OX11 6HQ).

Do I need to book?
No, we are an informal drop-in group. You can arrive and leave at any time during the session – we know getting out of the house with a tiny human can be unpredictable!

Is there a charge to attend?

No, but optional donations are much appreciated (suggested £2 per session). If you have change you can pop this in the collection tin at sessions, or we have a PayPal donations page
