Father’s Day falls on Sunday 18th June this year. While lots of places have great events running for Mother’s Day, a quick google search usually just brings up lists of restaurants with lunch specials on Father’s Day.
Fear not, we’ve scoured around Oxfordshire & Berkshire to let you know what’s on for Father’s Day and have some great suggestions for a family day out too.
RED KITE DAYS RECOMMEDNATION
There are lots of places to visit and our top recommendation is Roves Farm. A visit to Roves Farm is a favourite for my family. There’s so much to do, from the best tractor ride you’ll go on at a farm park, to meeting the animals and both indoor and outdoor activities.
Go on a bug hunt as part of the Roves Farm tractor ride. Entry to Roves Farm for Dad is free with a paying child – bargain!
Roves Farm doesn’t feel overly commercial with a lovely family run atmosphere, welcome and smile.
We’re proud to have Roves Farm as a sponsor for this special article on Father’s Day family days out. At Red Kite Days we only ever recommend places to visit that we have personally been to and give our 100% seal of approval so you can be sure to have a great fun family day out.
