At Stagecoach they aim to bring out the very best in every child through their highly regarded network of performing arts schools.
You’ll be amazed at how quickly your child improves…and they’re not just talking about their new-found skills in dancing, singing and acting. Students also develop excellent communication skills, grow in self-esteem and enjoy the benefits of improved co-ordination and fitness levels!
While many of their kids go on to enjoy success in the performing arts, all students learn essential life skills that will stay with them forever. Stagecoach welcome children of all abilities from the age of four to 18 years to their unique weekly classes . No auditions are required.
Stagecoach Early Stages (ages 4-6 years)
Children aged four to six are introduced to the performing arts through the fabulous range of Early Stages singing, dancing and acting classes.
In the singing classes, children learn new songs and find out about rhythm, timing and how sounds are formed. The dancing classes give kids the confidence to try new dance moves, while our drama sessions allow budding young actors to role play and practise improvisation and storytelling.
Weekly classes are held during term time and are split into three 30 minute classes with equal time devoted to singing, dancing and acting. Each term runs for approx. 12 weeks.
Stagecoach Main Stages (ages 6-18 years)
Children and teens flourish while improving their singing, dancing and drama skills during the weekly Main Stages performing arts classes.
Students learn different rhythms, tempos, singing styles and vocal techniques in the singing lessons, while dancing classes feature pop, street and musical theatre routines. In acting classes, children enjoy working on role play, improvisation and performance.
Main Stages classes are designed for six to 18 year olds, with children split by age into small groups so we can give everyone the attention they deserve. No two lessons are the same as students enjoy experiencing a wide variety of performance skills and styles. With three terms a year we structure the lessons so that one term focuses on the skills of singing, dancing and acting, another term allows students to practise, hone these skills and demonstrate their class work at the end of term, and the third term sees students gaining performance practise in front of friends and family.
These fun and friendly performing arts classes operate during term time, out of school hours, and run for three hours each week. Each term runs for approx 12 weeks.
