A couple weeks back we headed into Aylesbury town centre for a birthday lunch at Aurelia.
We had never been to Aurelia in Aylesbury but had heard great things about this Italian restaurant so we thought we’d give it a try.
The restaurant itself is a really stunning little spot and with it’s central location, hand for a pre show meal if you’re going to Aylesbury Waterside Theatre. The decor and atmosphere combine modern sophistication with a welcoming vibe. We had a lovely booth which felt like a really treat, and the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly.
I LOVE Italian food and it did not disappoint. It was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. The do a lunch menu that is £15.50 for two courses (April 2025) and let me tell you we were stuffed!! The portions were really generous.
The restaurant was really child friendly, we had Matilda with us and the staff all made a fuss and interacted with her. I even heard a staff member asking for the fries to be made quickly so that they could come out first as she knew they were for Tilly and she was restless. Those little touches from others really make life a bit easier don’t they?
If you’re looking for some yummy Italian food, with a friendly atmosphere and luxurious feel I would definitely recommend checking out Aurelia!
