Baby & Toddler Groups in and around Chipping Norton

Baby and toddler groups are a great low cost activity.  When you’re just starting out, they’re a great place to meet other mums with babies, make friends and gives you a focus to get out of the house.  The baby & toddler groups usually involve a mix of music, crafts, toys and refreshments which is perfect for when your little one is looking for a bit more stimulation.  There’s something on each day of the week in and around Chipping Norton.

Tuesday

  • Kingham Toddlers – a stay-and-play for under-5s in Kingham Village Hall, Tuesdays  in term time. £2 per family, includes snacks and drinks and toys!
  • Great Rollright Baby & Toddler Group – a caring, fun group that provides the opportunity for children and their parents, grandparents and carers to socialise in an informal, friendly setting. 10-11:30am

Wednesday

  • Stay & Play (Charlbury) 9-10am at the Charlbury Community Centre.
  • Toddler Gym (Charlbury) 11.15am-12. A structured session for 2½ – 5 year olds, accompanied by a parent/carer, aimed at developing physical and social skills, building confidence and having fun. Run by Jason Biles. £3 per child £5 for two.
  • St Mary’s Minis (Chipping Norton) The group is friendly and informal with a range of activities for toddlers to enjoy, from singing to crafts to toddler-friendly bible stories.

Thursday

  • Little Footsteps (Chipping Norton) for 0-4 years with parent or carer.  It runs from 10-11:30am with free entry.
  • Bumps & Babes (Enstone) held at Enstone Parish Hall 10-11:30am
  • Wychwood Minis playgroup (Milton-under-Wychwood) meet every Thursday at the Baptist Church Hall from 9:30-11am. A friendly group and there are lots of toys and crafts for the children (0-5). Plenty of tea, coffee and chats for the grown ups too. £3 per family. Older siblings can join in the holidays.
  • Font Cafe (Charlbury) – closed during August

  • Check out the fabulous Chipping Norton Theatre with lots of family theatre shows suitable for under 5s as well as a child-friendly cafe.
