Cheshire mum Suzanne explored with her kids and has shared her review.

Bolton Abbey is a really fun day out. There is lots of space for the kids to run around, stepping stones across a river, beached areas and great opportunities for paddling.

Bring a picnic too as there are lots of places to put down a blanket and enjoy the views with your sandwiches.  If you fancy a BBQ you are allowed to in one of the car parks which is popular on hot days!  For ice cream there are  plenty of huts scattered around the site and 5 minutes down the road is also Billy-Bob’s Parlour.
