DIY K’Nex Fidget Spinner

Have your kids got into the fidget spinner craze that seems to be sweeping the nation? They have been quickly banned in my children’s school although they love playing with them at home.  We were keen to have a go at making a homemade one.  Here’s how to make a really easy DIY fidget spinner from K’Nex construction pieces. Our fidget spinner only took a few minutes to make and spins pretty well. My kids loved creating their own toy and at least when the craze passes, we can take it apart and make something else!

How to make the DIY K’Nex fidget spinner:

  • Clip the straight bars around the circular centre piece like a star.
  • Feed a small straight bar through the central hole in your star to create the axle.
  • Clip end caps onto each end of the axle.
