Visit the Science Oxford Centre in Headington for autumn adventures – Family Days open every Saturday!

Young adventurers get hands-on in the Exploration Zone and outdoors with nature trails and the popular Water Lab. Explore, discover and play in the Exploration Zone with interactive exhibits – test how you can hear through your teeth, experiment with circuits and spinning discs, create animations or watch water freeze!

For those who prefer a lower capacity, come along to a Sensory-friendly Family Day for SEN families (4 October).

Outdoors

Enjoy the changing season and explore 15 acres of wild space, ponds and nature trails – all day woodland access is included with your ticket. Pick up an Explorer Backpack and see what wildlife you can spot. Children will love water-based play and investigation at the Water Lab, open until mid October. Refuel at the café with snacks and kid’s meal deals, or bring your own picnic and enjoy with a latté.
