Science Oxford run regular STEM clubs for children ages 5-9 with an adult with three sessions a day 10.00AM – 11.30AM, 12.30PM – 2.00PM, 3.00PM – 4.30PM

6 September – Science Club: Evolution in Action.

Discover a world of survival at our bird-themed session! Pecked with problem-solving bird-based fun, learn how creatures overcome nature’s challenges. Make a pine cone bird feeder to take home with a bird spotter sheet.

20 September – Nature Club: Wild Art Crafty

Kids get creative with autumnal woodland art! Experiment with natural materials, sculpt a tree face with natural clay, build ‘land art’ creations and make a Mandela and a leaf butterfly to take home!

4 October – Science Club: Heating and Cooling 

Become a materials scientist at this month’s sizzling session. Experiment with heating and cooling, identify mystery substances and see how they transform! Melt wax, and add colour and scent to your own tealight candle to take home.

11 October – Nature Club: Seasonal Science 

Investigate the science of autumn in the woodland. Try a simple chromatography experiment to see what creates the amazing changing colours in leaves. Build a nest to test how animals keep warm in the cold weather with a datalogger, and lots more!
