Ignite Sport, popular School Holiday Sports Courses have been running for over 16 years now! They are also OFSTED registered.
Who delivers the clubs?
Ignite Sport have a team of 40 coaches who deliver PE, school clubs & sports coaching in schools and at sports clubs throughout the year. They are a registered training provider with 80+ apprentices. Their apprentices assist at the holiday clubs as well as working within schools during term time. They coaching team all hold an enhanced DBS check and are fully trained in first aid and safeguarding.
Children aged 4-12 can enjoy learning new skills, making new friends, developing techniques and playing fun games and matches, with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment in a safe and supervised environment.
During the school holidays they offer multisport, dance, football and futsal. During the summer holidays they run additional sport clubs such as netball, hockey, cricket, and basketball, plus many more.
Multisport clubs begin the day with an energetic warm up and the day often includes seasonal craft activities for chill-out time. During a full week they aim to cover a large selection of sports that suit both boys and girls aged 4-12. The multisport days run from 9am until 3pm, with the option of an extended day until 4pm or 5pm.
The dance, football and other single-sport clubs operate a 1pm (mini-clubs) or 3pm finish, with an option to join our multisport clubs (where running at the same venue).
Sessions for 4 year olds: Ignite Sport welcome 4 year olds to join in the fun at the multisport, mini-football and mini-dance clubs. Owing to an OFSTED ruling and insurances, our 4 year olds are able to stay for a maximum of 4 hours, therefore our sessions for 4 year olds run from 9am-1pm. Please note that, without exception, all 4 year olds who attend the clubs must be able to use the toilet independently.
Football Skills & Girls Only Football Camps
Ignite Sport also run a football skills camp and a girls only football camp from this venue. Dates running vary so please check their website for full information.
