Mini Professionals Dance Academy offer a wide range of classes. Experienced teachers are encouraging, enthusiastic and experienced, allowing creativity to overflow and self-confidence to amplify. Just one weekly dance class at MPDA will boost a child’s confidence, coordination, balance, and fitness, which they can carry into every aspect of their life.
SNUGGLERS: TUMMY TIME AND SENSORY (0 – 6 months) – Thursdays: 11.35am-12.20pm
Classes are designed for newborns up to sitting babies. A gentle class that stimulates the senses without being overwhelming. We work from a soft mat, exploring colours, light, textures, music and movement. All the activities are designed to be beneficial for development of your little one’s body and mind, as well as being fun and engaging. You will also learn the basics of baby signing starting to encourage an understanding of language as well as baby massage boosting digestive health, sleep and the immune system.
WRIGGLERS: MOVEMENT AND SENSORY (7 – 12 months) – Wednesdays: 11.45am-12.30pm
Babies are invited to use all their five senses and explore a magical land filled with colours, textures, music, movement and laughter. A wonderful environment where parents and children can enjoy learning songs, baby signing, baby development, and socialise together. Stay after class and enjoy refreshments, chat and free play.
MUSIC & MOVEMENT (1- 2 years) – Wednesdays: 10.15am-11am
Music and Movement is a class designed for those who have found their feet. We introduce children to the world of dance via a range of expertly crafted activities that promote not just physical development, but also emotional and mental development. The class incorporates singing, movement, puppets and sensory activities resulting in a class that is engaging and educational.
DANCE & DRAMA ADVENTURE (Walkers – 2.5 years) – Thursdays: 10.45am-11.30am
An action packed adventure with dance, music, drama and loads of excitement! Let us take you on a journey to magical lands where we stomp with dinosaurs, fly with butterflies, get chased by sharks and shoot into space.
BABY BALLET (Ages 2 & 3) – Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
Baby Ballet is designed to introduce your little one to the world of Ballet in a safe and relaxed environment. The class incorporates interesting props and musical instruments and follows unique storylines that guide the children through a series of activities. The children will learn basic movement concepts like turnout, bending and stretching, hopping, jumping, skipping and more, while also being given plenty of opportunity to express themselves through free movement.
BABY GYMNASTICS (Ages 2 & 3) – Fridays: 3:35 – 4:15pm
Baby Gymnastics starts the teaching of acrobatic skills in a safe and relaxed environment. The class will allow students to use our incredible equipment with the supervision and support of our expert teachers. In this class children will learn basic movements and shapes setting them up to be able to learn their very first gymnastic skills.
SOFT PLAY (0-4 years) Mondays & Thursdays
Soft play sessions for are available for up to 2 hours on a Monday or Thursday morning. Just £5 per session. With the emphasis on keeping it calm, clean and small it’s a great way for parents to meet and for children to explore and learn in the world of play.
