South Stoke Park playground is a hidden gem tucked away in the beautiful village of South Stoke. It’s a wonderful grassy playground with equipment for all ages and loads of space to run around. At the park there is also a fantastic community-run village shop which sells ice creams. Next to the shop is a smart toilet. All in all it’s pretty much the perfect playground!
The playground equipment features a zip wire, challenging climbing nets and monkey bars as well as swings for older children. For younger children there are baby swings, ride on animals and a toddler fort/slide. There is an open grassy area next to the play equipment with a football pitch and goals.
The lovely village shop is run by volunteers and sells a great selection of groceries, fresh bread, cakes, coffee and ice creams. The hot sausage rolls are delicious.
