The IB Diploma
St Clare’s have been offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma for 45 years, longer than any other school or college in England. The International Baccalaureate Diploma is an internationally recognised qualification for students aged 16 to 18.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma enables students to study a range of subjects at standard or higher level, encouraging depth and breadth of knowledge across the IB curriculum. Providing in-depth preparation for university, students regularly win places at Oxford, Cambridge, London School of Economics, Imperial and other leading UK universities, as well as Harvard, Yale and Stanford in the USA.

The St Clare’s Oxford careers programme encourages students to engage with their career development journey through education, personal research and guidance. An experienced team supports students to successfully navigate the higher education applications processes across the globe and provide expertise on a range of career development options including gap year planning, apprenticeships and internships.

Beyond Academics
Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) is an integral part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma at St Clare’s Oxford. It provides an excellent framework to stimulate personal growth and develop the whole person through new experiences. Students are offered over 50 Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) experiences to choose from each week.
As well as the stimulating CAS programme, the academic provision includes sports and social activities at the college.
