Mini Tennis Coaching
Mini Tennis is a great introduction to tennis for children from 5 to 11 years old. The game is adapted with slower balls, smaller courts and smaller rackets in order to allow progression. The approach is tailored by age and physical development and allows children to develop many skills and techniques at an early age.
- Mini Red is for ages 8 and under.
- Mini Orange is for players aged 8 and 9.
- Mini Green is for players aged 9 and 11.
For coaching times see their ‘Club Sessions’ page.
Junior Tennis Coaching
The junior programme is for players aged 11 years and up, playing with a full court and standard ball. Guided by the team of expert coaches, your little (or big) ones will have a ball. They’ll learn about all aspects of the game from the ground up. Where to put their feet, how to begin the stroke, how to connect with the ball, how the stroke should finish and everything in-between.
Junior coaching takes place from 4pm until 8pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from 9am until 1pm on Saturday.
They welcome juniors of all standards and offer both individual and group coaching on request, as well as holiday camps during all half terms, Easter and summer holidays.
If you would like to know more about coaching, please contact the Head Coach, Bianca Pallatt on 07938145736 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
All coaches are qualified and accredited with the Lawn Tennis Association. This provides evidence they are safe to practice as well as competent. Accreditation means having an appropriate qualification, DBS and first aid certificates and references.
