*UPDATE: October 2017. This venue has now unfortunately closed*
Atom Trampoline Park is a smaller sized trampolining centre in Reading. Opened in February 2016, it’s fresh, bright and lots of fun. We joined one of the fantastic value Mini Atoms sessions for Under 7s during term time. Although the session was fully booked up there was plenty of space for all the jumpers. As it was a dedicated session for younger children, it also felt very safe.
Atom Trampoline Park Equipment
Compared to some other mega trampoline arenas, Atom Trampoline Park in Reading felt quite compact. There are four main bouncing zones and a traversing climbing wall. Two of the zones have larger and smaller trampoline sizes as well as a long trampoline with a slam dunk hoop. There is a netted dodgeball zone with balls to throw. The final zone features a huge inflatable crash mat where bouncers can jump along a trampoline then leap onto the inflatable landing pad. My children also enjoyed the traversing climbing wall with soft mats below.
Atom Trampoline Park Safety
The trampoline park felt very safe. All jumpers attended a safety briefing before going in and there was a dedicated staff member supervising each zone.
Costs
We joined the Mini Atoms (Under 7s) session during the week. At £5 per bouncer for an hour, this was great value and cheaper than some of the mega arenas for this age group. Prices go up to £12.50 for older ages/peak times. Check out the Atom Trampoline Park website for full details of sessions and prices. Booking onto a specific session in advance is recommended.
Bouncers also need to purchase Atom grip socks at £2 each. These can be kept and re-used.
Parties
There are birthday party packages available at Atom Trampoline Park. Prices start at £15 per person (minimum 10) for an off-peak party. This includes pizza, drinks, use of the party room and a bouncing session.
