Baby & Toddler Groups in Cheltenham

Stay & play baby and toddler groups are a great way to meet other parents.  They’re usually free or low cost and run by volunteers.

Monday

Cheltenham Twins Group (Cheltenham) – a playgroup and support network for parents of multiples and those expecting twins or more. The group meets every Monday from 10.00-11.30am at Prestbury WI. Sessions cost £5 per family. Expectant parents can go along for free.

Prestbury Urchins Baby & Toddler Group (Prestbury) – the baby & toddler group runs term time only

Tuesday

Motherhood Society Meet Up (Leckhampton) – Every Tuesday morning 9:30 – 11:30am. A safe space filled with coffee and cake, toddler toys and snacks, supportive chat and solidarity.

Reddings Baby & Toddler Group (Cheltenham) – this group runs term time only, on Tuesdays 9.30-11.30. A friendly group, with indoor & outdoor play and from the look of their facebook page, some amazing cake too!

Gotherington Toddlers Praise & Play (Gotherington) – the sessions consist of circle time, with a Bible-themed craft activity, as well as favourite nursery rhymes, ending with a parachute game and goodbye song. The story/theme is the same for all sessions. Cost just £3 per family, per session

St Peter’s Little Pebbles (Leckhampton) – Little Pebbles meets on Tuesdays during termtime between 10-11.30am at St Peter’s Cottages

Happy Beans – Stay & play, movement & music, interactive storytime, arts & crafts and FREE tea, coffee and cake  £5 per family (Bishops Cleeve)

Wednesday

Stoke Orchard Baby & Toddler Group (Cheltenham) – Friendly drop in stay and play group and welcome all ages from newborn to 4 year olds. Runs term time from 9:30-11am.  Plenty of free parking, no need to prebook.  £6 per family

Thursday

Noah’s Ark (Cheltenham) – Formally known as ‘St Mark’s Toddler Time’, the group has been established for over 30 years. A friendly, welcoming space where you can get to know other parents, carers and their little ones, and maybe even enjoy a slice of cake as well! Chat, play, craft and sing every Thursday during term time.

Little Explorers (Prestbury) – Prestbury Little Explorers is a community based, not-for-profit playgroup. They are based in the Pavilion on Prestbury playing field in the heart of Prestbury village.  Tiny Explorers is their Stay and Play Baby and Toddler group on Friday mornings from 9.30am to 11am (during school term times). Sessions are currently run on a drop-in basis with no need to book.

Cheltenham Children’s Library Storytime (Cheltenham) – A story time with colouring or a make-away for toddlers and pre-school children. 2 – 2:30pm

Tots@Salem (Cheltenham) – Tots meets on a Friday morning during school Term-time between 10.00 and 11.30am for all Pre-school children and their carers.

Cambray Toddlers (Cheltenham) – meets on Fridays in School Term times, from 10am-11:30am, at Rodney Hall in the centre of town. A lively and fun group for all Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Nannies or Carers with their babies to pre-school children
