Big On Bouncing

It’s rare these days to find a family run soft play, so it was a real treat to visit Big on Bouncing at their new location on the edge of Slough. The centre is easily accessible from the M4 and has its own parking and a café on site.

There’s lots to love about Big on Bouncing soft play from the warm welcome you receive on arrival to the great range of play activities available there. But what I loved most was how easy it was to keep track of my toddler while he was playing. I’m sure many of you have had the experience of losing your toddler into a huge soft play structure or clambering after them to make sure they are safe. Big On Bouncing felt like just the right size for my three year old. He could explore independently and I could keep track of him the whole time.

The current set up at Big on Bouncing has three different areas for play which are all easily viewable from the café area. There’s lots of interactive elements to explore like light games on the walls, giant balls and soft building blocks plus all the usual slides and structures and to climb. There’s also a large bouncy castle which the kids all loved.

Big On Bouncing welcomes children up to the age 8 and the size of the play structures was perfect for my three year old. He could climb up everything that was there, but I could also see him enjoying it for several years yet.

Big On Bouncing also run SEN sessions and inclusivity is very important to them in every session. The centre is very well contained and secure, as well as being a manageable size, so I can see how well it would work for families with children with additional needs.

Towards the end of the session we also had some lunch from the café. There is a good range of hot and cold food available for both adults and children and we enjoyed a lovely lunch of a hot filled baguette for me and nuggets and chips for my little one. Prices are very reasonable and you can also pick up hot drinks and sweet treats too.

We’d definitely recommend a visit to Big on Bouncing if you are in the area. Places like this are hard to come by these days and it’s great to visit a thriving, independent and family owned soft play centre that is so thoughtfully run.
