Busy B’s is a buzzing play cafe in Staines offering a fun and safe place where children can explore and make friends, whilst the adults relax with a coffee and delicious homemade cake.
Having recently moved to this new location we were very excited to come along and try it out – I had heard great reviews from friend and knew that both children would absolutely love it.
Noah firstly noticed the giant bouncy castle, his shoes were off immediately and he headed straight in that direction for a bounce. There were lots of safety crash mats surrounding the castle in case of any bouncing accidents – both little ones had lots of fun jumping on the castle, and they were squealing with delight.
Ride on toys are always a big hit with my two, and they had lots of choice here. Whether it be a cosy coupe car, scuttle bugs, wiggle cars or maybe pushing the dolls around in their prams. Noah and Isabella spent ages zooming around the hall – good job the hall was large enough to burn off all there energy.
Set around the room was also a reading area with a variety of books and soft cushions for the children to relax and get lost in a book. There was also dressing up clothes, Noah transformed from Buzz Lightyear into Woody from Toy Story whereas Isabella chose a Princess style dress.
There was also a home kitchen area with fridge, washing up sink, cooker and then numerous cooking utensils and food. I always love playing in this area as it’s great for children to use their imagination, cooking different dinner and learning the names of all the food.
Every child loves playing with dinosaurs and cards, and lucky here didn’t disappoint. I’ve never seen so many dinosaurs in one place, we had lots of fun playing with them – they even came on a pretend holiday with us too. I really need to learn the different names though as Noah is forever asking me which one is which.
On the crash mats in the middle of the room are various soft play shapes and a slide. Great for making towers out of, climbing on and jumping on. There is a soft play car which we all enjoyed and also different shapes you have to fit inside the correct picture.
Some places seem to forget about the babies who aren’t walking, but not here. They have an area dedicated just to them and safely secure. Inside is a soft padded flooring which is great for crawlers and lots of toys to occupy them – sensory, learning, and colourful delights for them to explore.
The menu was very reasonably priced and there was a wide selection of food on offer. Whether it be hot or cold refreshments from teas, coffees, squash, homemade cakes, crisps or jacket potatoes and toasties. The menu has something for everyone.
Ps – Noah and Isabella both loved the babycinnos which they had, as you can see from the colour of their faces.
Would really recommend a visit here, so much for the children to do and a lovely place for the adults to relax with hot or cold refreshments.
