Busy Kids in Bucks sessions for under 5s run on Wednesdays in Lee Common, near Great Missenden. Local mum and childminder Sarah popped along to check it out for Red Kite Days.
The group is well prepared with plenty of activities set up to keep little ones busy. There was a wide range for the children to choose from including crafts, sensory play, construction, role play, counting, books, bikes/scooters and messy play.
The children even had the chance to make and play with their own play doh. My son particularly enjoyed scooping the colourful rice up with spoons and pouring it in to different pots. Great for those fine motor skills and imaginative play.
The group is run by qualified early years teachers which explains the well thought out activities and range of resources. The children could free play in a good size hall with 2 outdoor areas so it never felt over crowded.
There was also snacks and refreshments provided throughout the session.
All the children loved the group circle time at the end where they sang a variety of songs and played games with a parachute. I also found out you can book a birthday party if your child really enjoyed the set up and activities. A great group run by knowledgeable and welcoming ladies, I highly recommend!
