With a very energetic and fast moving 19 month old, I am always drawn to a playground which is enclosed! I can thoroughly recommend Chadlington village playground, located just as you enter the village on the Chipping Norton Road.
We often visit several times a week as it’s close to where we live, is often very quiet, fully enclosed and has all the favourites which the little ones enjoy. It is a wonderful playpark full of wooden equipment and has plenty to keep all ages occupied. There are several different climbing structures, a large underground tunnel and a lovely slide which comes down a grassy mound. There is also a really lovely wooden car and train for the little ones to enjoy and pretend they are driving!
The playground also has a range of swings from a nest swing to baby and big boy/girl ones. There is also a small basketball court for the ball players!
There is no set parking area but the roads near by are quiet and there is space to park on the roadside.
Chadlington itself is a beautiful Cotswold village which has a lovely village shop, butchers and a small cafe- they all sell lovely produce, many of which is local and I can recommend them all thoroughly.
