Eton End was established in 1936 to educate the children of the Masters at Eton College, and that relationship abides to this day ensuring that pupils can still enjoy some of the facilities on offer at the College.

Over the coming academic year, the school will move to a ‘bring your own device’ setting and enhance all aspects of digital learning including the establishment of a robotics and digital media lab. A wide range of co-curricular activities are on offer coupled with sporting fixtures and opportunities in the timetable, ensuring all pupils have the flex to engage in and experience a variety of additional clubs ranging from film-making to martial arts. The Eton Endeavour Award launches in September 2023 and will be a vehicle for further character development and enrichment opportunities within the school day.
Mrs Rachael Cox assumed the role of Headmistress in September 2022 at Eton End. With nearly three decades of extensive academic teaching and leadership experience, Rachael has already made an impact at Eton End leading the refurbishment of The Nest nursery and the Early Years classrooms.
There are more plans in place to further enhance the excellent provision in place at Eton End, all of which are based on the latest research and neuro-science. As a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching Rachael is passionate about ensuring the classrooms are reflecting the best practice with the highest impact.
Rachael is working in partnership with parents and teachers to ensure childhoods are preserved whilst ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning. Preparing children for a lifetime of change and learning is a core function of education today. Developing resilience, empathy, compassion and humility in Eton End pupils is just as important as the traditional academic curriculum.
