9 July, 2021 - 11 July, 2021
Tatton Park welcomes MasterChef winner at Foodies Festival
Foodies Festival, the UK’s biggest food festival, returns to Tatton Park this July, featuring BBC’s newly crowned MasterChef winner Tom Rhodes.
Tom will be joining a star-studded cast of celebrity chefs who will cook live to festival audiences. “I’m a huge fan of Foodies Festival” said Tom “I’ll be there and can’t wait to share my favourite recipes and quick kitchen tricks”. Other top chefs include Alex Webb, champion of MasterChef: The Professionals 2020, MasterChef 2021 finalist Laura Michael and 2016 Bake-Off winner Candice Brown.
This year’s Foodies Festival runs from 9th – 11th July, where visitors can experience food-themed fun such as Chefs Theatre, Street Food Avenue, Chilli eating competition, Kids Cookery School and a huge exhibition where the best food and drink from the North West will be showcased. The organisers are encouraging as many Cheshire businesses as possible to take part, so if you’re a local producer of new and interesting food or drink, exhibitor spaces are still available at www.foodiesfestival.com
“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Foodies Festival back to Tatton Park this summer” said Carole Hyde, Business Development Manager. “We love how this high-profile event shines a light across the foodie landscape from local suppliers to global produce. Visitors to the show will also be able to sample Tatton Park estate and farm meat and garden produce in our Stableyard restaurants and Housekeeper’s Store whilst they’re here’.
Sophie Ellis-Bexter – who has reached out to foodie fans during lockdown with her live-streamed Kitchen Discos – will be performing on stage, as will top ranked Lady Gaga tribute act and the UK’s leading Killers tribute band. Throughout the daytime, the stage will be taken over by 50 up-and-coming bands and artists from the region.
Tickets are on now on sale priced from £19 for adults and children under 12 are free, at www.foodiesfestival.com and 0844 995 111.
