SPOTLIGHT –  High Lodge Farm Spooky Trail & Pumpkin Patch 10th – 31st October

Step into the Step into the Midnight Moon Mystery at High Lodge Farm and enjoy pumpkins, woodland adventures and unforgettable family fun this autumn. Once you’ve cracked the secret code, you can enjoy a thrilling barrel train ride around the farm, play rustic wooden games, toast marshmallows over the fire and scramble over the straw bales.

Dracula Spooktacular at Cogges Manor Farm (Witney) 22nd October – 1st November

Weatherproof Halloween fun at Cogges Manor Farm this October half term!

Step into Dracula’s Castle, as the 13th century Manor House at Cogges Farm is being transformed into Dracula’s home with a spooky but fun filled experience in every room. That’s not all, the Cogges Fun Barns are back with lots to entertain the kids including Halloween Kids Disco, Spooky Craft and a Bouncy Castle.

Halloween at Millets Farm (Frilford) 

Get ready for a season of thrills, chills and family fun at Millets Farm this Halloween!

From picking the perfect pumpkin in our pumpkin patch to experiencing the magical atmosphere of Pumpkins by Night, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Step right up to the spectacular Halloween Circus, then dance, play and celebrate at the fang-tastic Spooktacular Discos.

Science Oxford Family Days (Oxford) 24th + 31st October

Visit the Science Oxford Centre for a unique family experience this autumn. Explore, discover and play in the Exploration Zone, where children and grown-ups alike have fun experimenting with interactive exhibits; create and test flying designs at the Air Table, build a giant magnetic ball run, and make fun animations with the Animate Science activity.

Halloween at Roves Farm (Sevenhampton) 22nd Oct – 1st Nov

The brand new Puddle Duck Play Barn at Roves Farm is open and and there’s a lot of extra Halloween fun over October half term.  From pumpkin carving to wand making and a Monsters Ball to live potions show plus all the fun on the farm whatever the weather.

Skeletons Science Club at Science Oxford (Oxford) 24th Oct

What’s inside our amazing bodies? At this month’s Science Oxford Science Club for ages 5-9, learn about bones and build a skeleton jigsaw. Find out how our skeleton stops our bodies wobbling like a jelly and becoming a pile of goo! Build a K’Nex skeleton to protect balloon lungs, and make a bone model with play dough, straws and card. It’s Alive! Experiment with movement and muscles and create Dr Frankenstein’s moving model arm.

The Wild Space (near Northleach) 28th – 31st Oct

The play and creativity space from The Wild Things continues through October at Far Peak in the Cotswolds, Northleach. Focused at preschoolers during the week and then reimagined at weekends especially for children aged 6–11 (though younger and older siblings are always very welcome), The Wild Space is a place to build, make, invent, create and explore and there’s a Halloween trail too during October half term.

Drop in for half an hour or stay for 4 hours. There are no classes to keep up with and no right way to join in. Just creativity, curiosity and plenty of room for imagination. No need to book, just turn up and pay on the door.

School of Witchcraft & Wizardry at  Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park (easy reach from Bicester & Thame) 24th – 31st October

Head to Hogshaw Farm for a magical Halloween day out this October half term! Follow the herbology tutor into the pumpkin patch to collect your specimen for decorating, head to the magical classroom to try your hand at potion making and look out for rare creatures along the way.  Free pumpkin for children included.

Halloween Trail at Blenheim Palace (Woodstock) 22nd October – 1st November

Wander from dusk into darkness and through the spooky spider tunnel to be surprised by fantastic fire performers as you watch out for the headless horseman emerging from the mist.

Master Builders Club Brick Building Workshop

Join in for Halloween bricking building adventure.  With 1000’s of LEGO bricks, children can be dropped off for this engaging workshop or parents are welcome to stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED  Dates and venues to be confirmed

Bippo’s Halloween Circus at Millets Farm (Frilford) 25th – 31st October

Get ready for a fun-filled family adventure as the legendary Bippo the Clown returns to Millets with a brand-new circus spectacular.  Joining Bippo under the Big Top are a host of talented performers, including Miss Chelsea with her breathtaking aerial routines and Mr Benji, whose incredible juggling skills and spinning plate wizardry are guaranteed to amaze!

Mr Sleepybum’s Dream Machine at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre (Aylesbury) 26th Oct

Mr Sleepybum returns to Aylesbury with a brand-new show!  This award-winning interactive show is filled with sketches, slapstick, and silliness, ensuring maximum fun for the whole family.

Megaslam Wresting at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre (Aylesbury) 26th Oct

The #1 Live Experience for Families returns to Aylesbury, for an all-out action-packed spectacular.  Westling fans of all ages can rejoice at this 2 hour epic event featuring some of the biggest Wrestling stars from across the world.

Dance in the Dark at the North Wall (Oxford) 28th October

Come in your favourite PJs for a slumber party in a giant sleepover den and a playful night-time adventure at the North Wall in Summertown. Sonrisa Arts presents Dance in the Dark, a captivating dance and music show with fun interaction for families. Co-created with children, this multi-sensory inclusive show features contemporary dance, live music, immersive sound, and scents.

Sprouts Play Barn Spooktacular Disco (Millets Farm) 28th – 30th October

Join the Sprouts team at Millets Farm for a Spooktacular evening full of play frame climbing and disco dancing fun. Children can enjoy the huge play frame exploring all the play levels with the lights down low and music up high!

The Witch Who Couldn’t Sleep at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre (Aylesbury) 30th

This gentle, heartwarming show is just what you need to enjoy a cosy, cuddly time together with your family. Children get to join in, shout out, and help shape the story as it unfolds.  So pop on your favourite pyjamas and come help Natascha The Witch enjoy a better bedtime in this enchanting sing-along musical. Presented with a magical mixture of live action, music and animation at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre.
