Two talented young athletes from Giggleswick School delivered outstanding performances at the National Cross Country Championships at Parliament Hill, London, on Saturday, 22nd February.
Following strong performances in the earlier rounds in Liverpool and Leeds, Mia and Jack represented the school on the national stage. Mia, a consistent winner this season, including victories at The Rawthey Run and The Catteral Shield, entered the race in top form. Jack, a GB and England athlete over the last 18 months, also aimed for a strong finish in a highly competitive field.
Navigating the challenging course with confidence, Mia powered through to take 1st place, finishing with a commanding lead and cementing her position as one of the top young cross-country runners in the country.
