Gym Jams is a traditional style soft play for babies and toddlers from birth up to 3 ears old. Situated in Normandy, Guildford this is a unique soft play centre where everything is all open plan, no cages, and all areas visible so no hiding places for the little ones. As soon as we walked through the door the brightness and assortment of soft play equipment was amazing.
All set up in the room is an assortment of soft play blocks, a huge bouncy castle, mini trampolines, climbing blocks, soft play police car and tractor. There’s also a special section of the mat designed for little babies who aren’t crawling.
Around the outside of the soft play equipment there are various seats and tables where you can relax and have some refreshments which are included in the ticket price. There was a vast selection of walker toys, scooters, bumbo’s and baby bouncers.
Soft play is a brilliant way for children to learn to reach, grasp, crawl, run, climb and balance, physical skills are developed.
The play room was immaculately clean, very well organised and stunning adherence to hygiene. The people who run Gym Jams were extremely friendly, very attentive and great with the little ones.
Great place for little ones to run around, bounce, climb and burn off some energy. Having a place for toddlers to explore at their own place is great as means everything can be done at their own pace without older children taking over. My little boy felt so confident here that he was happy running around whilst I enjoyed a nice hot coffee. This is one of the benefits of having it all opened planned.
Gym Jams is a great place for play dates or just for you to chill with a coffee whilst the kids play and on a hot day it has the added bonus of air con.
There is ample free parking outside and also if the weather is nice there is a great park located opposite with picnic benches also for you to enjoy.
