KidzZoo Soft Play Bicester

So today I went to KidzZoo soft play in Bicester with my twin boys who are 3 years old. They had a fab time.

Kidzoo is lovely little play centre for children up to about 5 years old. (They say 10 years but personally I think about 5 years as I think they would get bored after about 20 minutes!)

It isn’t a huge place but brilliant for the little ones. There are 3 different play areas plus  party rooms upstairs.

The big main frame is suitable for the older children I would say from 2.5/3 – 5 years. It has a red enclosed slide in the middle of it, some mirrors, a rope bridge, some windows out over the seating area (including a blue tunnel with windows in which look out over the seating area) some big yellow bouncy balls and a swing ball to sit on and slide along. Lots of bits to climb on and it’s very colourful.

The toddler area consists of a little tree house with a a couple of soft steps up to the slide, a hideout under the slide, some moving puzzle on the wall,  some soft sit on animals and some soft building blocks.

The third area is just tucked to the side of the counter where you purchase food and drink. It has a sofa and big box of books, some puzzles on little tables and some building blocks, it’s a nice little break away area if the frame area is getting too much for the children.

The toilets were well stocked and very clean, they also have a baby changing table just outside the disabled toilet.

I had a cup of tea and a pink doughnut and my boys shared a cookie.  To be honest there wasn’t a huge choice of cakes or biscuits. However, the cakes we had were very yummy and fresh. The tea was hot and came with plenty of milk and sugar and was delivered to the table. The tea, doughnut and cookie cost me £5.40.

On the counter had fresh water with clean cups for people to help themselves.

There is free wifi for customers but I didn’t see any power points so could be an issue if parents are wanting to work whilst the children play!

Today we were fortunate enough to take part in their craft event too.  This was a reserved table that was well stocked with stickers, paint sticks, crayons, pens, glitter glue and colouring pencils. My boys spent a good 20 minutes at the table doing some colouring and decorating a paper shape!

Overall we had a brilliant morning the staff are lovely and extremely helpful, they have tried to think of everything. And keep on top of the cleaning really well, no tables had rubbish or empty china cups just left on them.

There is only one way in and out of the play area and it is gated so once you are in, the children can’t go anywhere without you!

Just a little side note they are also doing loyalty cards. Everytime you pay to enter you can get a stamp on your card. They also do this on a separate card for hot drinks too.

My boys have already asked to go back.
