Today we were very lucky to be invited down to watch the brand new Christmas show at Norden Farm in Maidenhead – Miki!
Miki is a 50 minute puppetry show, based on the much loved picture book, that takes you on a magical underwater adventure with Miki and her friends.
The puppetry, music and set were absolutely beautiful and there were plenty of laughs to be had too. The retelling of the book is done with such creativity, we loved it.
This show must also contain some kind of toddler taming magic because my usually wild little man spent the whole show totally absorbed in the action on stage! This was my toddler’s first theatre experience and this gentle but engaging show was just perfect for him.
We would definitely recommend heading down to see Miki this Christmas. It was packed with winter magic and makes for a lovely, easy going alternative to Panto in Berkshire.
The show runs from now until 30th December, and you can also make use of the lovely cafe on site when you visit (we very much recommend the hot chocolate!)
