There are two great playgrounds at Mill Meadows, by the river, in Henley. The wooden adventure playground is suitable for older children (read our review here). The colourful toddler playground has loads of lovely new equipment ideal for younger children.
Mill Meadows Toddler Playground Features
The riverside playground is bright and colourful and has a springy surface. There is lots of fabulous new equipment including a pirate ship, spinning buckets, activity stations and animal bouncers. Older children can enjoy climbing to the top of the big net triangle.

There is pay and display parking beside the playground. There are public toilets close to the playground too. Check out the cafe (with indoor and outdoor seating) which sells ice creams as well as a good range of hot meals. There is a kid’s menu.
Nearby Attractions
Have fun spotting ducks and geese by the river and watch the various boats going by. There is a nice smooth path suitable for scooters. For a whole day out, check out the River and Rowing Museum which is a few minutes walk away. Read our review here.
