OASIS is a friendly charity run by parents for parents/carers who are bringing up children/young adults with Autistic Spectrum Disorder or related conditions such as Global Developmental Delay or Sensory Processing Disorder in Oxfordshire.

They aim to create a supportive community through informal coffee and chat groups, evening meetings with professional speakers, subsidised courses and family play days during school holidays.

Oasis welcome families who have an ASD diagnosis for their child and also those going through the assessment process.

Coffee & Chat

The informal drop-in Coffee and Chat groups are a great way to meet other parents and carers. You don’t have to be an OASIS member to come along and the groups are open to parents, carers, grandparents, school staff, anyone who might find benefit in chatting about their experiences or who would like support.

All the groups are hosted by OASIS volunteers who offer a warm friendly welcome, coffee and cake. Pre-school children and babies are more than welcome to attend with their parents.

These informal drop-ins were running in Oxford, Bicester, Abingdon, Grove and Witney but currently on hold. Check out their calendar page for directions, dates and more information about the groups.
