Rock Solid, based at Brookes Sport Headington, is Oxfordshire’s premier climbing wall. A firm favourite of Red Kite Days, we were really pleased when award winning photographer Alexandra Tandy took her son for a climbing session and shared these wonderful photos with us. As well as being available to all Brookes students and staff, the climbing wall is also open to the public, and is home to a strong local community of climbers.
There are also the following climbing sessions with an instructor available for kids:
Kids Indoor Climbing Supervised Sessions
NICAS Wild Climbers 3-8yrs
Mondays and Fridays 5:00pm-5:45pm. This session is designed for 3 years and older. Cost includes entry and supervision. The session is a supervised climbing experience of bouldering and bottom-roped climbing run by our experienced instructor team.
