We popped into Pieminister on a chilly January lunchtime while shopping at Trentham Gardens. What caught our eye on the menu outside was that they had gluten free options. As our daughter is on a non gluten diet, eating out can be a tricky business so we love it when we find companies who take that extra step to cater for Gluten Free.
We sat inside their cozy restaurant and checked out the menu a little closer. My daughter chose their gluten free steak and gravy pie with a side of mashed potato. She absolutely loved it and was so pleased to have a pie on offer for her.
M younger daughter and I shared a lovely pie of chicken, ham, leek & thyme. I wasn’t sure if she would like the pie which is why we shared but she really enjoyed the filling so I’ll know for next time.
Now my husband’s order was insane. He got the “Tikka to Ride” which is a free range chicken tikka filled pie but he got it with the works which is all the sides. This included mashed potato, minty mushy peas, cheddar and crispy onions. It looked so good and was amazingly tasty.
I’ve now signed up to their newsletter where I’ve already received a voucher for £5 off my next visit, which hopefully won’t be too long away.
