Climbing is a great way for kids to develop fitness and communication skills whilst building confidence in a fun and active environment. Reading Climbing Centre is Berkshire’s top climbing facility.
Children over the age of 4 can climb at the centre and there are beginners courses available if you’ve never tried it before.
Reading Climbing Centre Classess
Try a Little Monkey’s Session for 4-6 year old climbers. Activity sessions are taught for one hour in small groups, and give your young climbers the chance to have a go and get into climbing. This costs £12
7-11 year olds can try a Rock Its session costing £15. These sessions are a great way for young climbers to have an introduction in to climbing and meet other climbers of similar age.
Hang Time is a group based activity session for teenagers and older kids with a buzz for a new and exciting sport. The sessions are designed to give an introduction into the world of climbing, whilst focusing on enjoyment and teaching climbing technique and basic safety skills required to progress in the sport. This sessions costs £15.
Regular climbers can pass a test to enable climbing without adult supervision.
