Red Kite Days Surrey Award Winners 2022

Wowzers – you went all out to support your local family favourites in the Red Kite Days Awards 2022, with literally thousands of people voting. It was extremely close in many of the categories so a huge congratulations to all the finalists and a big thank you to everyone who supported by nominating and voting.

Best Museum – Brooklands Museum

Best Animal Attraction – Bocketts Farm Park

Bocketts Farm Park is a working family farm set in the beautiful Surrey countryside. The combination of animals and play areas, both inside and out makes this a popular all weather attraction. Heather Farm Café, a really family friendly cafe located on Horsell Common. They’re open every day serving hot and cold drinks, light bites and an amazing selection of cakes.

Best Indoor Play – Gym Jams

Gym Jams is a traditional style soft play suitable for babies, toddlers, and small children. As a family run Guildford soft play, they pride themselves in providing a safe space, with high standards of cleanliness and safety, for fun and creative play.

Best Outdoor Play – Hobbledown Epsom

Best Theatre – New Victoria Theatre

New Victoria Theatre in Woking boasts state of the art facilities, excellent acoustics and clear sight lines. This year’s pantomime is Cinderella, the fairy godmother of all pantos!

Best Kid’s Activity Class – The Mummas Village

Nowadays many of us live away from our families and our traditional support networks; The Mummas Village help bridge that gap and provide families with a community of support, empowerment and fun! Teachers across Surrey (who are all mums) offer evidence based, logical and down to earth antenatal classes together with fun, stimulating, developmentally appropriate baby classes.

Best for Teens

Air Hop Guildford have over 50 interconnected trampolines that span right across the floor and up the walls, as well as an Obstacle Course, AirHopBag, Extreme Dodge Attack, Slam Dunk and AR Trampolines.
