I asked around for a great soft play in Gloucestershire and one of the top recommendations from others Mums was Rugrats & Half Pints indoor soft play in Cirencester.
I took my 3 year old mid week and it while there was a good buzz, it wasn’t crammed. There’s plenty of space and a good mix to keep all ages busy. The main soft play area for big ones is a really good size and arranged over several levels. There are some great speedy slides for those who like a little rush and plenty of tubes to crawl around, ball pit and variety of areas to discover.
I’m sure it’s pretty popular at the weekends and school holidays so it’s good to see plenty of dedicated areas for younger kids too. For the really little ones and those with sensory needs, there’s a special area with low levels to crawl around and sensory features.
My 3 year old really enjoyed having a good clamber around the toddler area. It has it’s own soft play frame, little slide, ball pit and caterpillar tunnel. If it’s raining outside and you’ve put a trip to the park on hold then there are swings too.
Rugrats and Halfpints have everything you would look for in a soft play and more. We had fun building towers with the giant bricks and fiddling with the new crocodile activity board. There are also some trampolines too and a racetrack. As it was midweek during a school day, I loved that they had put out a variety of ride on cars to play. What more could you ask for!
Rugrats and Half Pints in Cirencester opened in March 2018 so everything is still in good condition. There’s plenty of seating too if you have the chance to sit down with a mix of tables or comfy sofas. We also squeezed in a good lunch of mac & cheese with garlic bread.
