The paddling pool at Stoke Park in Guildford is back open for the Summer!
Refurbished last year in 2022, the paddling pool is free to use and pretty big so plenty of space for everyone to play. @adventuresoftheaandjax have kindly shared their review. The paddling pool is also very shallow so perfect for toddlers like Jax, but kids of all ages were having lots of fun.
With the beach design it slopes on the yellow part (to look like the sand) and the ‘tide’ of the pool comes up slowly so fab for little ones who aren’t sure of the water or want to take more time getting in.
There’s an ice cream hut close by and there is also plenty of bench seating around the pool
Lots of green space too but away from the pool area.
The play area is a very short walk away from the pool – it has climbing frames with slides for both toddlers & older kids, all inclusive swings, a helter-skelter, a roundabout and an obstacle course area.
At Stoke Park you’ll also find a Japanese themed garden, a rose garden, mini golf and 52 hectares of open green space to walk around.
There’s a few different car parks that you can park in or there’s 2 hours free on parts of Stoke Road (check council website for the car parks & charges).
We really enjoyed our afternoon here
*As always, please check the council website before heading to the pool in case it’s closed for any reason*
