On the grounds of Savages Garden Centre in Blewbury is the lovely Style Acre Tea Room. It’s independently run by Style Acre, a local charity supporting adults with learning disabilities. The Tea Room was developed as an enterprise which could provide more skills development and work experience for people with learning disabilities.
Style Acres Tea Room serves breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. They have a simple and straight forward menu. My son and I enjoyed a huge jacket potato crammed with beans and cheese which came with a side salad. They’ve got their offering just right and the tea room was buzzing when we arrived.
We luckily managed to find a table and there were plenty of highchairs on hand. There were kids books and some colouring pencils and paper which kept my little one happy while I goggled at the cakes.
They have an outdoor covered seating area for a damp day as well as picnic style tables where you can soak up some sun if you’re lucky. Next to the outdoor seating, there’s a big grassy space which would be ideal for fidgety kids to have a bit of a run around.
They also have a lovely range of cakes so I’ll definitely be back to try those out.
If you’re looking to make more of a trip out, then follow up your tea room visit with a trip to the nearby park in Blewbury.
