The Beeches Golf Cafe

After a game of Adventure Golf at The Beeches we headed inside to the cafe. It was 11.30am so breakfast was still being served, we were quite happy to have a late brunch. However, we asked if my daughter could order from the Children’s lunch menu as she had eyed up the chicken goujon meal. Luckily the staff were happy to accommodate this after checking with the kitchen.

My eldest daughter ordered a sausage sandwich. The sausages were amazing, proper butchers sausages. Advertised to be from local Butcher AJBoon so it was good to see a local supplier on the menu. These came on a nice large soft bap.

My husband went for the “Beeches Full House” breakfast which included the same butchers sausages, bacon, egg, black pudding, tomato, baked beans, hashbrowns and toast (Swapping mushrooms for extra hashbrown). It looked amazing and my husband reported that he was very impressed by the quality. Even the tomato was cooked nicely and seasoned well.

I ordered the 3 egg omelette. You could choose one filling for 6.00 or pay more for extras. I just went for ham. The omelette was really different to the usual ones you get. It was served with basil oil and crispy onions which gave the omelette a more fragrant and fresher taste. There was plenty of ham inside and it was cooked perfectly.

The rest of the menu including the lunch items looked like they would be equally as yummy and the chefs have certainly put effect into creating some lovely dishes.

The cafe does theme nights such as their most recent Curry Night which is coming up. On a Friday night you can get a homemade curry with all the trimmings and balls to use on the range from £20pp. I would image this to be a good night out and a bit different to just going for a meal with friends so would be interested to attend one in the future.
