Situated in Green Park in the South of Reading, The Mad House soft play is a good choice if you have a mix of different aged children and my kids had a great time exploring.

Large Soft Play Frame

There’s a good sized multi level soft play frame ideally suited to independent kids who love to explore.  It has plenty of variety to keep them interested and lots of different routes they can take up and through.   It’s big enough to have lots to do but not so overwhelming that they get totally lost and you spend forever trying to find them.

The four laned red slide was a hit with my kids as they enjoyed racing each other down again and again.  There’s also a twisty slide, a variety of different tunnels to explore

There are comfy sofas dotted around and I managed to nab one and drink my coffee with the obligatory wave every time they reached the car at the top of the play frame and peaked through the window.

For those that love jumping into a big ball pit or kicking around a football in the mini court, they’ve got that covered too.

Under 4s Soft Play

If you have a little one, they have a dedicated area for under 5s which.  There are a variety of soft play shapes, baby walkers and rockers for young ones and a generous sized soft play frame for those who want to adventure a little more.  It evens has it’s own dual laned wavy slide.

Food & Drink

There’s a range of refreshments and food options from snacks to full meals at The Mad House and I it was very reasonably priced compared to some soft plays.  I liked that the kids meals had an option on size for mini or maxi.

The staff were all friendly and helpful and my kids properly tired out by the time I dragged them home.
