How Much are Pay For Play Adventure Playgrounds?

The adventure playgrounds are often set in the grounds of stately homes, palaces and castles, with the adventure play park an extra to grounds admission and some are included.  You’ll find a comparison on adventure playground pricing and click through for reviews of the places visited by our local mum bloggers.  A family of 4 price has been  calculated for 2 adults plus 2 full paying children or if there’s a family ticket price offered.

Open from Tuesday 11th July, Adventure Play at Windsor Great Park is set next to Savill Gardens.  As soon as you walk through the doors the WOW factor is certainly there. It feels like you’ve entered a little wooden village, with beautiful crafted houses, large acorns to climb in, wooden leaves which move when you jump on them and an impressive water play feature.

Adventure Play at Blenheim Palace (Oxfordshire)

Adventure Play at Blenheim Palace is a new £3.6 million outdoor adventure experience located within the historic Walled Garden. The new area includes a series of immersive interconnecting zones with secret chambers, clamber nets, tunnels, slides, rope bridges, an amazing water feature running the length of the playground and giant carrots!

Blenheim Palace tickets need to be booked so there are a number of options.  If you’re just visiting the area as a one off on holiday prices are below

Tumblestone Hollow adventure playground is the perfect family place to escape into a magical world of adventure and exploration. For those with an adventurous spirit you can climb up a spiral of steps  to the top look-out deck, crawl through tunnels, scramble along a netted tube or along bridges. There’s also a fantastic twisty slide and zip wire.  Younger kids will enjoy the sand and water play area.

The Magic Garden is included in the Hampton Court Palace admission ticket and there’s no guarantee of space and you may have to queue on busy days.

Burghley‘s exciting new woodland play area is opened in time for Easter 2023. Themed around William Cecil as the country’s first Chief Spymaster, the new woodland adventure playground features a series of fun packed play zones that lead to the epic Hidden Towers.

Chobham Adventure Farm has a fantastic outdoor space. With two separate wooden adventure playgrounds – one for slightly older children with a higher, more complex climbing apparatus and zip wires. The other is a smaller play frame with little houses, balancing obstacle courses and a slide.  This is all combined with indoor soft play and the chance to meet the farm animals too.

The adventure playground at Waddesdon Manor is spread out through the woodlands.  Starting down by the coach house there’s an area perfect for younger kids.  Follow the walkway for adventure play along the way with everything from slides to zip wires. While not the epic scale as some of the big adventure playgrounds, there’s plenty of opportunity to run, jump, slide and climb.
