Hallcourt Farm – Pumpkin Picking, Wild Woodland Trail and Halloween Pumpkin Carving (within easy reach of Woolhampton, Thatcham & Reading)
After an amazing first year, Hallcourt Farm pumpkin patch returns for 2024. Not only that but the Woodland Walk will have new fun and spooky things to spot through the trees, a Halloween clue to solve (and a little prize to win!) The big barn will once again be open for pumpkin carving and decorating. NEW this year is BIG bale play and facepainting.
Pumpkin Picking & Scavenger Trail at Carrimers Farm with Ridgeway Adventures (near Didcot, Wallingford, Goring)
The pumpkins are all grown on site, so you can pick your pumpkin right from the spot it grew from. There are a lots of unusual varieties of pumpkins as well as the traditional orange Halloween pumpkins. £3 entry to the pumpkin patch then pay for what you pick (Aston Tirrold, about 15 mins drive from Pangbourne)
Berkshire Farm Girl’s Pumpkin Patch – open daily from 4th October and they’ll have a maize maze too. (Curridge, near Newbury/Thatcham)
Newbury Pumpkin Patch – open weekends from 5th to 27th October (Bagnor, near Newbury)
Cobbs Farm Shop usually have pumpkins with details for 2024 not yet announced. (Hungerford)
4 Kingdoms Pumpkin Patch will be open from 5th to 31st October and of course there’s all the other attractions to enjoy too. (not far from Newbury)
The Rotherwick Patch – open from Saturday 12th October 2024, they will be fully stocked with over 20 varieties of pumpkins, squashes and gourds for all your picking needs, each one home grown on the farm. (not far from Reading / Basingstoke)
Parkway Shopping will have a Pumpkin Patch in the Primark Piazza on Thursday 31st October until 2:30pm or while stocks last. Pick up your trail sheet and head around Parkway to discover the password to let you in to the patch. (Newbury)

High Lodge Farm pumpkin patch and spooky trail (Culham, South Oxfordshire)
High Lodge Farm – after a fantastic couple of years, they’re back for 2024 and opening for selected dates in October, they’ve got thousands of pumpkins of all different shapes and sizes for you to take home. Fill a wheelbarrow and enjoy a spooky woodland trail and Halloween games area. (Culham, near Abingdon)
Millets Farm pumpkin field will be open again this Autumn, packed full of plump pumpkins to pick, spooky props to explore and plenty of fun for the whole family to enjoy. This year they’ve got some NEW optional extras to add-on to your pumpkin picking experience to enhance your day out! Open for weekends only from 28th September, then daily from 19th – 31st October. Earth Trust will once again welcoming visitors young and old to the farm. Get your hands dirty and boots muddy as you pick pumpkins and squash direct from the growing field. Sundays 13th, 20th, 27th and Monday 28th-Thursday 31st October. (Little Wittenham)
