Woodley has a brand new playground that’s opened in Woodford Park and it’s lots of fun.
The smaller children’s area is enclosed and has a climbing frame with a slide, there’s a slide on a small hill, a jeep, all-inclusive swings, interactive pieces, a smaller climbing frame & tunnel as well as a roundabout.
The bigger kids slides and climbing frame are outside the enclosed area & there are also swings, monkey bars, an obstacle course, a basket ball hoop and skate ramps.
They’ve done a great job; its great for all ages and abilities – there’s also plenty of green space here for picnics and ball games.
Just across the green is another park, a lake with ducks & a paddling pool that can be used for free.
