On Saturday 7th December, between 3pm and 7pm, Datchet will be holding its annual Christmas Tree lighting celebration out on The Green in the centre of Datchet (SL3 9EH).

Live music, choirs, dance troops, food and drink, Santa’s arrival and departure, topped off with the Christmas Tree light switch-on, will be highlights of the evening. This is an occasion for the whole village so this year, to add to the festive interest of our local families, we’d like to have an array of stalls that includes arts & crafts, gifts and decorations, children’s toys and creative designs.

There will be no electricity so lighting will be from your own led camping lights and Christmas decorations, – the idea is to create a wonderful community Christmas atmosphere across the whole event.
