Following the success of the Earth Trust’s Pumpkin Patch last year, they’re once again welcoming visitors young and old to the farm.

Get your hands dirty and boots muddy as you pick pumpkins and squash direct from the growing field.  You can also get lost in the sweetcorn maze and enjoy refreshments from local suppliers.

Date: Saturday 21^st – Sunday 29^th October 2023 (with a rest day on Wednesday)
Time: Morning and afternoon sessions available each day – 10am-12pm and 1-3pm
Price: Entry tickets £7 per family booked in advance (booking fees apply), £10 at the gate. One entry ticket is valid for a group of up to 6 people. Entry to the maze is included, pumpkins and squash to be purchased separately.

We started our visit by heading into the sweetcorn maze to find all the letters and unscramble the word.  Loved the pumpkin head scarecrow that met us and the ones we found along the way.

There’s a great variety of pumpkins in the field next to the sweetcorn maze with not only the traditional orange variety that makes the classic lanterns but lots more too.  We were tempted into buying a spaghetti squash and a honey bear pumpkin too.

After all that hard work choosing our pumpkins, we headed to the pop up cafe where 5 Little Pigs from Wallingford are serving a delicious range of options.  I had pumpkin soup last year which was amazing and this year couldn’t resist the cheese & chilli jam toasty.  Not your average toasty by any means, it was crisp and buttery on the outside with thick cut bread and loaded with oozing cheese on the inside.
