Christmas wouldn’t be the same without a magical theatre performance and Norden Farm Arts Centre in Maidenhead always put on the best! They have a line up of not one but three great shows to add a little sparkle. Not only that but the Carnival of Lanterns parade is back.

4 Kingdoms Adventure Park Christmas experience (near Newbury)

The immersive Christmas experience is a 3-hour storytelling journey. Get involved in a variety of activities including a Musical Show, Build a Bear and getting a personalised visit with Santa.

Reading Winter Wonderland (Reading)

Reading Winter Wonderland includes an Apres Ski Bar, a real ice skating rink undercover, Santa’s grotto and a wide variety of festive food and drinks to keep you full of festive joy.

Legoland at Christmas 2021 (Windsor)

The festive event transforms the Park into a winter wonderland, complete with twinkling lights, snow dusted trees, and of course…a sprinkling of LEGO® magic!

Festive fairytales with Father Christmas at Odds Farm Park (Wooburn Common)

Father Christmas invites you to join him and his Elves for an enchanting group story-time. After meeting Father Christmas and stopping for a festive photo keepsake*, you will take a magical stroll deep into the sparkly, wintery Enchanted Woodland, to arrive at the North Pole, with a stop at The Toyshop on the way!

Reading Twilight Trail 2021 (Reading)

This year, the Twilight Trail: Biscuit Town returns to Reading’s stunning Abbey Ruins and Forbury Gardens from 3-31 December 2021 with a biscuit-themed trail to celebrate Reading’s link with the world-famous Huntley and Palmers biscuit factory.

Windsor Great Park Illuminated (Windsor)

For the first time, Windsor Great Park will be awash with hundreds of thousands of lights, lasers, projections and holograms; creating an enchanting experience for friends or those on a romantic night out to enjoy as well as offering a fun activity for families this festive season in a safe, outdoor environment.

Devine Christmas Light Trail (Maidenhead)

The trail is about bringing festive joy to our local community, whilst raising much-needed funds for our vital children’s hospice service.

Christmas at Windsor Castle (Windsor)

This winter experience a fairytale Christmas at Windsor Castle. The festive display includes a magnificent centrepiece, the 6 metre (20-foot) high tree in St George’s Hall, taken from Windsor Great Park and dressed with hundreds of twinkling lights and ornaments.

Teddy Bear Christmas Trail (Eton)

Find the Eton teddy bears hidden in the town’s shop windows and you could win a prize!

Christmas at Basildon Park (Lower Basildon)

Experience a wintry woodland at Basildon park both indoor and outdoor making a lovely day out for everyone. Inside the house will be transformed into a winter wonderland and outside the discover the Illuminated Wintry Woodland.

Once Upon a Bus presents a ‘Yuletide’ experience (Fifield)

Your experience includes entrance into the magical ‘Yuletide’ decorated bus. Upstairs you will be taken on an interactive storytelling experience by Arti the Elf and Jane Deane (as seen on Cbeebies). Included will be carols and a the famous poem ‘T’was the night before Christmas’. Children and Adults will be encouraged to summons Father Christmas to the Bus and visit him in his Grotto on the lower deck of the Bus.

  • Christmas at Dinton – a weekend of live music, mulled wine, mince pies and some soon to be revealed, show-stopper attractions at Dinton Pastures this winter – you might also get to meet Father Christmas! (Hurst, Wokingham)
  • Come and meet Henry the Hedgehog and Raina the Reindeer in the wonderfully winter themed workshop at Bracknell Library. They are both very opinionated animals so children will have to distinguish between what is their opinions and what is fact. Suitable for 9-11 years (Bracknell)
  • Make your own Christmas baubles family workshop (Caversham)
