Nothing says Christmas like a panto, especially with the added festive snow outside! On Tuesday evening, we wrapped up warm and entered Milton Keynes theatre after quick and easy parking.
We were greeted by lovely, friendly staff and showed where to go. Of course, the first thing we did was purchase some butterfly light up wands, I mean what’s a panto without those, right?!
We then went inside the theatre to find our seats. The girls were super chuffed at how close we were! We did use ear defenders for one of our girls, she is noise sensitive, but the other was absolutely fine without. For younger children, I would highly recommend these as it really does help with some of the louder parts.

The cast were absolutely fantastic and the show was packed full of laughter and fun! The innuendos were on point and I found my cheeks hurting from smiling so much.
Lesley Joseph was particularly amazing in her role as the wicked step mother, she was dramatic, funny and showed she has a great sense of humour. You felt like every ‘error’ on the show was the first time and not part of the script, which it clearly was. But left you questioning!
Paul Chuckle didn’t disappoint, we loved the chuckle brother references! One for us oldies! Also, some great songs and performances, we loved Judge Rinder showing his ‘strictly’ moves and also we loved the modern songs thrown into the mix.
Audience participation was fabulous and it was amazing to hear such laughter throughout. Children to adults to grandparents all enjoying some cheesy Christmas fun. We also loved that Muddles was brilliant at impressions- a cheeky extra bonus in the show! Fabulous, family, festive fun!
We absolutely had the best time and enjoyed the show.
