House of Fun Holiday Camp – my boys have been here before and had a great time. They’re family run and have a huge amount of energy and lots of variety from sports to crafts and cooking. The multi-activity camps including cookery, sports and arts & crafts for 5-12 year olds in every school holiday, with sites in Oxford and Abingdon. Children choose all their activities each day, and through a safe, fun environment under the supervision of a fantastic team of friendly and experienced staff, giving children the chance to just be kids.

Oxford Active Camps – children’s multi-activity camps are for children aged from 3 to 14 years and have a wide range of fun activities for kids to enjoy during the school holidays. With venues at top independent schools with outstanding facilities from indoor and outdoor swimming pools to sports playing fields, woodlands and 100’s of acres to explore.
Active Adventure focuses on all things outdoors, muddy and wet. Its suitable for those new to bushcraft as well as those who are at home in the woods or on a kayak.
Introducing Active Chefs this May ( for children aged 8-14 years ) – a really fun way to introduce young people to the enjoyment that comes from cooking. Running Thursday 30th May
Kid Active Holiday Clubs (Headington, Oxford) – offer children aged 4-12 a fantastic mix of high and low energy activities. The exciting timetable is delivered over spacious indoor and outdoor areas offering arts and crafts, construction, board games, toys, music, dance, bouncy castle and all the sports.
Jane Brooks intensive swimming courses offer intensive swimming courses during the school holidays designed to help children make rapid progress. I can give this one a personal recommendation as my kids have been and it really giving them such a boost in confidence and skills. So much so that they now have the regular weekly Jane Brooks swimming lessons.
NOX Gymnastics Camps are designed to be a fun space for children (of all gymnastics abilities!) to learn, play and make new friends through the school holidays. A variety of activities makes every day different, including outdoor playtime, choreography, a variety of different sports activities, team building games, races, arts & crafts activities, and of course plenty of gymnastics! Ultimate Survival Camps are for adventurers aged 7 to 14 years. Go wild during the holidays being fully-immersed in the natural environment, trying brilliant outdoor activities and games, and making new friends!

Cygnets Art School run two holiday workshops per day during the May half term holiday spread between Abingdon and Didcot, so you can choose to attend one, several, or all of them! Abingdon classes are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Didcot classes are on Tuesday and Thursday. They have a ‘Children’s Book Illustrations theme with a Hogwarts inspired castle, James and the Giant Peach, Beatrix Potter projects to draw and paint. Suitable for kids of all abilities aged 5-13.
Bright Sparks Events May half term Science Holiday Clubs involve a day, jam packed full of science tricks, messy experiments, fun games and science crafts. The workshops will be a roller-coaster adventure of funfair physics!
As well as fantastic family friendly theatre shows at The North Wall, they also regularly have a variety of creative workshops during the school holidays. Over May half term they have workshops on 31st May.
8 to 12 years will have a full day getting to grips with animal studies! This is a popular technique used in drama; inspiration is drawn from animals and their behaviour to create new characters. This is a fun way to explore personality traits and physicality.
For 12 – 17 year olds a full day exploring how to create detailed, nuanced, and convincing characters. Expect lots of games, drama exercises and fun.
The Hedgehog Club holiday club will run at May half term 29th – 31st May. Tailored for 5 to 12 year olds, spend the day in the woods building dens, swinging in hammocks, whittling, making fires, cooking on the fire, crafting and much, much more.

Artworks Holiday Classes (Oxford) – held in a huge, bright and spacious room at St Mary’s and St Johns Primary School, in a huge big room, aspiring artists will really enjoy. My eldest loved printmaking and we have his picture framed at home.
Jamie Cassidy Soccer School (Bicester) – Boys, girls and all abilities are welcome to learn new skills and techniques at these popular school holiday football holiday clubs in Bicester.
